Hello! We are Adele Lippiatt and Emma Lunt. We are both qualified primary school teachers with over 35 years of experience between us working in schools across the UK and abroad. We are also both mums, so understand the challenges of bringing up young children. Both as parents and teachers, we have experienced the positive difference that learning through fun can make.
We founded Launchpad in 2012 starting with just one small pre-school class in Southville, Bristol. Launchpad has grown each year. We now deliver pre-school classes and art clubs in Bristol. We also provide community projects and frequently work with local schools and groups providing a range of activities. In addition to these, Launchpad provide PPA cover with a specialism in art. We offer a tailor-made package for schools that links directly to the National Curriculum.
Over the last few years we have been lucky enough to get to know so many great families. We have had so much positive feedback and we love watching the confidence and skills of our Launchpadders grow.
My name is Emma Lunt. I qualified as a primary school teacher gaining a BA Hons with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in art and drama from Warwick University in 1999. Since then I have taught in a wide variety of settings including Birmingham, Bristol and at the British School of Paris. I have taught across the key stages and early years from ages 3-11, with my most recent post being a job share as lead teacher in a nursery class. I have two children aged 10 and 12. I love being a mum and I love teaching, so Launchpad is the perfect opportunity for me to have lots of fun doing something I really care about and enjoy!
My name is Adele Lippiatt. I live in Southville, Bristol. I trained as a primary school teacher in Cardiff and graduated with a BA Honours in Art and Education in 1997. I have twenty years experience teaching across the key stages and in many different schools and settings. I’ve worked as a full time teacher, supply teacher and more recently a PPA teacher at Southville Primary School.
I am a mum of three, well four if you include my naughty sausage dog Ernie! I have a fire fighter/photographer husband, so life is very busy in the Lippiatt household but I wouldn’t change it for the world!
I’m really passionate about teaching, working with children and families and I love being creative, so setting up Launchpad classes with my good friend Emma was like a dream come true. We have built up the business over the years and have had some great fun along the way. May it continue as we spread the Launchpad love!
